Rebecca is a journalist, keynote speaker, and the cofounder of Modern Loss, which offers creative and candid content and community along the long arc of grief. She is also the bestselling author of The Modern Loss Handbook: An Interactive Guide to Moving Through Grief and Building Your Resilience and Modern Loss: Candid Conversation About Grief. Known for drawing people into uncomfortable topics with warmth and humour, Rebecca has given talks and workshops on themes of grief and loss, mental health, resilience and post-traumatic growth, and building compassionate communities around the world, including at including Amazon (US and UK), Capital One, the Commonwealth Club, End Well, HBO, and the University of Pennsylvania. Her work has been published in outlets such as the New York Times, NBC Think, and Time magazine.
