Stephanie Heitkemper, PhD, LPC, RPT-S, FT, owns Resilient Minds Counselling in Denver, Colourado. Growing up as a third culture child, moving over 15 times due to her father's U.S. Army service, she developed a deep appreciation for compassionate care. Specializing in grief, trauma, and life changes, Dr. Heitkemper incorporates EMDR and play therapy into her practise. She also enjoys developing programmes and providing training for grief organisations. Dr. Heitkemper has served on board of directors for HeartLight Centre, a Denver based grief support centre since 2017. For self-care, she embraces early morning CrossFit and Colourado adventures.
